New Cocktail: Old Fashioned

Looking for a classic cocktail? This is the Tomatin Old Fashioned.

Simple yet bold, the Old Fashioned cocktail has been a firm favourite among whisky fans for more than a century. The Old Fashioned recipe is intentionally straightforward, crafted to showcase the complex character of the whisky it holds. Tomatin’s light and fruity distillery style is displayed perfectly in an Old Fashioned cocktail, balanced by the aromatic Angostura bitters and complemented by a touch of citrus garnish.

Although we’ve chosen our Tomatin 12 Year Old for this recipe, each of our single malts bring unique characters to the glass. We recommend finding an expression that works best for you.

50ml of Tomatin 12 Year Old

5ml of Demerara sugar 

1 or 2 dashes of Angostura bitters

  1. Add the ingredients directly into a glass with ice (a large block works best).
  2. Stir in the glass until thoroughly chilled.
  3. Garnish with a nice, long orange peel — serve and enjoy!
