Our Distillery
At Tomatin we are more than just another whisky distillery. Since 1897, our people have worked hard to build the Tomatin community that exists today and lies at the heart of everything we do. We produce quality single malt and blended Scotch whisky in an area of stunning natural beauty which has rich whisky making traditions dating back to the 1500s.

VISIT TOMATIN
Our Visitor Centre is open 7 days from 10:30 to 16:30 in November through to April
Please note, the A9 between Tomatin and Moy will face a new 40mph speed limit from March 10 2025, remaining in place until Spring 2028 – please allow extra time if travelling from this direction.
For our guests arriving by car, we’re pleased to offer the tastings included in each experience as “Driver’s Drams” to takeaway, ensuring everyone can enjoy a taste of Tomatin responsibly.
Crafting the perfectly balanced single malt at the heart of Tomatin is a meticulous process. Like every Scotch whisky distillery, we observe Silent Season. Our production will stop from June 23rd to August 22nd to allow for essential maintenance and upgrades to our production facilities.
Disabled access is available to most parts of the whisky distillery, let us know of any specific requirements when booking. Guide and assistance dogs are permitted in the Visitor Centre, however, as much as we would like to, we cannot accommodate other pets at the distillery.
Please do not hesitate to get in touch for further information.
