Sharing true Highland warmth from our home to yours to yours
In 1897 Tomatin was nothing but an isolated and idyllic setting for a distillery. With the new Highland Railway came opportunities, and so the distillery was born. Since then, the distillery has been at the heart of the community and the community at the heart of the distillery. Today, the Tomatin Legacy lives on in the form of an exciting and varied range of Highland single malt Scotch whiskies.

Did you know that Tomatin has one of the longest fermentation times of any Scotch whisky distillery? ⏲️
These fermentations give us a spirit that`s bursting with fresh-fruit flavours. From the moment you open the bottle, you`ll be enveloped in delicious aromas of apples, pears, apricot and mango 🥃
The superb ex-Oloroso casks that we use to age our 18 Year Old lend the whisky an incredible complexity — all thanks to the dry, spicy, nutty nature of this Sherry.

What does our Tomatin Legacy taste like?
🥃 First, it brings you the sweetness of vanilla bean, white chocolate and cinnamon — the result of its maturation in Bourbon barrels and Virgin Oak casks.
🥃 These flavours give way to generous waves of fresh fruit, peppered with notes of ginger that offer a kick of warming spice.
Warehouse 6 is home to some of our most treasured casks at Tomatin Distillery. Left to age quietly over decades, the casks from this warehouse have produced whiskies that are worth celebrating.
Now, you can enjoy our truly unique tasting experience in Warehouse 6, with four single cask expressions poured straight from the cask to your glass.
Our on-site cooper, Allan, works tirelessly to produce the very best casks in which to mature our delicious Tomatin whiskies. Here he is, manoeuvring a cask through the cooperage.
