A New Chapter for Tomatin: Bringing Our Wood Expertise to Life

At Tomatin, wood has always been central to the character of our whiskies. Now, with our refreshed packaging, we are proud to bring that story to the fore in a bold and modern way.

Inspired by the casks that shape us

Our new pack design features a premium box with a distinctive wood‑grain motif, inspired by the natural rings of oak. It’s a visual reminder of the craft and care that go into every cask, which is especially meaningful for us as one of the few distilleries with our own on‑site cooperage.
Seeing our cooper, Allan Bartlett, named Cooper of the Year in 2025 made this refresh feel even more fitting.

Clearer, bolder, more distinctive

Each expression now carries its own vibrant colourway, from indigo to forest green, purple and teal, making it instantly recognisable on‑shelf or behind the bar. We’ve also streamlined our labels and messaging to make it easier than ever for whisky lovers to understand what’s in the bottle.

Rolling out across the range

The first whiskies to receive the new look are Tomatin Legacy, Tomatin Dualchas, Tomatin 12 Year Old Sherry and our newly named Tomatin 12 Year Old Triple Cask. The rest of the core range, as well as our Global Travel Retail expressions, will follow throughout 2026.

Staying true to what matters

While the labels and cartons may look different, our commitment hasn’t changed.

Jennifer Masson, our Head of Marketing, sums it up perfectly:  “This bold new packaging reflects what we do best at Tomatin – exceptional cask management, craftsmanship and attention to detail. It aligns our visual identity with consumer expectations in modern retail and on-trade settings and gives our whiskies greater presence in global markets. Our focus remains unchanged – creating remarkable single malts at excellent value for whisky lovers around the world.
