Graham Eunson
This extraordinary release is a testament to the lifetime of mastery, crafted from whisky fully matured in two exceptional casks – each representing a defining chapter in Graham Eunson’s career. The first, a refill hogshead filled in 1990, marks the year he first stepped into the whisky industry. The second, a French oak barrique filled in 2011, commemorates the year he brought his expertise to Tomatin Distillery. Bottled in 2025, to mark his retirement from the industry, this whisky is more than a tribute, it is Graham’s legacy in liquid form.
Graham joined Tomatin in 2011 as the distillery’s General Manager. In 2019, he earned the esteemed title of Master Distiller, in addition to his role as Distillery Operations Director. In 2021, he celebrated an impressive 30 years in the whisky industry.
With a wealth of experience spanning renowned distilleries, including Scapa, Glendronach, Glenmorangie and Glengassaugh, Graham brought his forward-thinking mindset and innovative spirit to Tomatin. His dedication to quality and consistency is evident in every bottle, reflecting his deep passion for the craft.
Graham’s influence has resonated far beyond Tomatin, earning admiration across the whisky world. Reflecting on Graham’s remarkable career, industry legend Alan Winchester shared:
“When I hear mention of Graham’s name I do not picture him, l hear that lovely Orcadian accent.
During his stewardship as a representative of the industry in the past 40 years has witnessed the ups and downs of the industry from closure to rebirth and looking after such iconic names. With Professionalism and not without a bit of fun and humour.
With great respect I wish him well in the next chapter.”
