Introducing Tomatin 10 Year Old – a brand new addition to our single malt range for 2025!
This whisky is exquisite in its simplicity – a beautifully crafted single malt that brings a touch of indulgence to any occasion.
Where many of our whiskies are matured in sherry or port casks, the Tomatin 10 Year Old is matured exclusively in bourbon barrels, this gives the whisky a sweet, fruity and buttery flavour and really allows the natural tropical flavours of Tomatin spirit to shine through. As said by Scott Adamson, blender and global brand ambassador at Tomatin, “We do bourbon maturation incredibly well at Tomatin, and we’re proud to share a whisky that feels refined and special, yet remains wonderfully easy to enjoy.”

Is it common to mature in only Bourbon Barrels?Bourbon Casks are the most commonly used cask type in Scotland, but it isn’t often that you see a Tomatin fully matured in Bourbon. When I first started in 2012, we had a fully matured in Bourbon 15 Year Old and it was my favourite – I have been keen to bring this style back ever since. Are there any challenges with creating a bourbon-barrel only whisky?The simple answer is no – it is impossible to hide a bad spirit in a bourbon barrel, this is because they keep the spirit honest, allowing so much of the distillery character to come through, as well as taking on the cask influence. How would you recommend enjoying this dram?Our 10 Year Old has been made to be accessible – whether you sling it in a highball, mix with ginger ale or have it on the rocks, the main thing is that you enjoy it! To accentuate the sweet, yet salty, flavourings, I would recommend pairing with some white chocolate coated pretzels.
